Silk Smitha's GF comes into picture

Only few of the movie buffs might have heard the name of film maker Vinu Chakravarthy, who claimed himself as godfather of Silk Smitha.  Speaking to a tabloid, Vinu came out all guns blazing at Vidya Balan for acting in 'Dirty Picture', a biopic on Silk Smitha without taking his permission. 'Vandi Chakram' is the film from Vinu that assumed Vijaya Lakshmi to take the title of Silk Smitha. "Script work for this film was done from 1976 to 79 and I designed the character of Silk specially. Movie was released in 1980 and Silk Smitha has become a phenomenon. Silk is my creation and anyone who wants to make a film on her should take permission from me," said Vinu. "The large inviting eyes of Silk Smitha are missing in Vidya Balan. She is a misfit for the role while Aishwarya Rai or Deepika Padukone would be a exceptional alternative for becoming the sex siren," Vinu targeted Vidya Balan, while expressing his opinion on sexuality of Silk Smitha.
