'Appalraju' Producer's drowsy nights!

The 'drowsy' we mean is not something like a depression kind of stuff. Luck seems to be smiling on this big-fat producer like never before. Kiran Kumar Koneru, producer of 'KSD Appalraju', is floating high in the air and celebrating it with pegs of alcohol followed by chunks of chicken. Naturally, any film producer mourns for the disastrous fate of his film, especially for flicks like 'KSD Appalraju', directed by sensational director Ram Gopal Varma. The reason behind these happiness celebrations are something stunning. Insiders revealed that Kiran previously knows that the film is going to be a disaster and hence RGV made a free film 'Dongala Muta' for him. According to grapevine, the film's satellite rights are sold out for a whopping 2 crores, while the overall production cost is below 20 lakhs. One crore return (rest will be shared with crew) here and the table profit he got for the just released movie shows that loss is only for RGV and the viewers, but not for Kiran. Does this mean that Producers today are more clever and creative than directors? For now, we can say only 'yes'!
