Hyderabad, February 21 : In view of the JAC’s Chalo Assembly programme, the police is totally alert in the city and the traffic is diverted at many important junctions of the city.
It is to be recalled here that the demand to present Telangana Bill in Parliament’s budget session, is getting momentum after JAC announced Chalo Assembly on February 21. Thus all roads leading to Assembly are closed for general traffic and the entire area is cordoned off and makeshift check posts are erected.
According to the details, the traffic from Nampally leading to Ravindra Bharathi would be stopped at police control room and would be diverted to A R petrol pump.
Traffic from old MLA Qrtrs and Bharathi Vidya Bhavan leading to police control room and would be stopped at Bashir Baug and diverted to Liberty Liberty.
Similarly, the traffic from Nirankari Sangh, Saifabad to Ravindra Bharathi would be diverted Iqbal Minar, Dwarka Hotel junction.
Traffic from Telugu Talli flyover to Ravindra Bharathi would be diverted from Iqbal Minar, old Saifabad police station to Telephone Bhavan, Lakdikapul.
Traffic coming from SBH, gunfoundry is not allowed to pass from the left side and is diverted to Bashir Baug flyover.
The police commissioner issued a notification in this regard.
